Armadillidium vulgare 'T+ Albino' - T+ Albino, T-Positive Albino, T-Plus Albino, Tyrosinase Positive Albino
T+ albinos produce wonderful shades of orange with gold flecks. These are VERY different from T- albinos that appear almost fully white, with barely noticeable gold flecks.
Tyrosinase is an enzyme is an enzyme that controls the production of melanin. T+ Albino isopods are unable to produce traditional black melanin, but instead produces pigments that are different shades of orange and purple.
Size - Adults reach up to 2.0cm.
Difficulty - [2/5] - Great beginner species. Good for novice keepers.
Special Care - No special care. These will breed readily in a basic isopod setup.
Cultures are sent in mixed sizes (juveniles to subadults)
