Cubaris sp. 'Caramel' - Caramel Duckies, Caramels
Unlike most Cubaris isopods, Caramels are the opposite of shy. They're often chilling out in the open on top of moss, or other terrarium decor.
Caramels have a great mixture of light and dark browns, with each isopod having a different shade from the next. The dark edged segments give them an awesome look.
Size - Adults reach up to 2.0cm.
Difficulty - [2/5] - Great beginner species. Good for novice keepers. Care is easy, but mistakes are costly.
Special Care - Caramels will breed readily in a basic isopod setup with deep substrate (2-2.5 inches) and a 50/50 humid-dry split.
Cultures are sent in mixed sizes (juveniles to subadults). Do not expect fully-grown specimens.
