Trichorhina tomentosa - Dwarf White Isopods

Dwarf White Isopods are the tiny heroes of terrariums. They do great in humid setups and are completely plant-safe.

Dwarf Whites spend most of their time in the soil, feeding on detritus and aerating the soil. They are best paired with a surface-dwelling clean-up crew, like Porcellionides pruinosus or Cubaris murina.

Dwarf Whites are also one of the only captive-reared isopod that breeds parthogenically.

Do not mix dwarf whites with sensitive or slow-breeding isopods. Most isopods breed slower when kept with dwarf whites.

Size - Adults reach up to 0.3cm.

Difficulty - [0.5/5] - Great for people/children who have never kept pets before. Can breed in almost any setup with substrate and a source of moisture.

Special Care - Keep in moist soil.

Cultures are sent in mixed sizes (subadults, adults)

All were alive and healthy, with some being gravid as well! Definitely buying more pods from this shop in the future ❤️

Delivery and packaging was done nicely. Dubiss burrowed quite fast into the substrate of my enclosure.

Reaalllly realllly tiny isopods hahaha my son finds them cute, so bought 10. I think I've only seen them twice. But, You'll feel really thrilled when you find 1 or 2 in the enclosure. Sorry no picture hahaha maybe someday we would be able to take a picture

These little weirdoes like to hide and show themselves from time to time. Very happy with my new pets.
